Case explained: Collection House were instructed to recover a debt from a large Care Home provider following an unpaid advertising campaign. Despite repeated chase efforts our client decided to refer this case to us for recovery. We started work straight away, issued a bespoke Letter of Claim and made contact with the customer via phone and email. We received an immediate response and within a matter of days payment proposals were  being discussed. The debtor wanted additional time to pay (3 months) but looking at previous collection notes and the debtors financials this was declined. We gave them an additional 21 days supported by a Deed of Guarantee. On day 23 Collection House received the full payment which included the debt, plus interest and compensation.

Case explained: Collection House were instructed to recover an aged debt from a small stone manufacturer who's credit limit was £0.00 and subject to CCJ's. We firstly issued the relevant notices without reply, attempted contact via phone and email without success. We then suggested legal action which was accepted. This channel of recovery proved successful, principal sum plus costs were recovered by the Sheriff Officer and monies were then remitted to the client. The debtor company Dissolved  shortly after.

Case explained: Collection House were instructed to recover an aged debt from a sole trader. This involved a PAP (pre-action protocol) being issued. The debtor instructed a solicitor to dispute the amount owed which was ultimately resolved amicably by ourselves with the client happy with the overall outcome.

True cost to client: Principal sum recovered plus over £400 of late fees. 

Case explained: Collection House were instructed to recover an aged debt of £ 2,340 from a debt that was over 6 months old. Due to the age of the debt, we added late fees and managed to secure payment of both the principal sum and late fees inside 8 days. This was the first instruction given to us by a new client, they are now instructing us more frequently with regards to problematic invoices.
